Jake Steinfeld Body by Jake Workout
Jake Steinfeld, of Body by Jake fame, is another big name that trained at Vince Gironda's Gym and learned Vince's highly effective training and diet methods.
You would probably never associate big names like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jane Fonda with Jake Steinfeld, but the truth is that Jake has had more of an impact on the health and fitness industry than both Arnold and Jane because he was the person to convince Hollywood royalty to start training with weights to see better results.
Jake had a typical New York, Long Island upbringing but he was a fat kid and when he turned 13 his father tried to get him into weight training. That was the first turning point in Jakes life. He trained through high school, his ultimate objective being that of winning Mr. America, so he moved to LA and got a job as a bouncer. But things changed for Jake after he competed in the Mr. Southern California competition where he placed second. It was after that competition that Jake decided to never take steroids and as a result never actually competed in the Mr. America contest. Jake Steinfeld was working as a bouncer at a night club when he met a famous actress who complemented him on what great shape he was in, then asked if he could teach her how to get her body the best it can be. That was the second life changing moment for Jake. It took a few years but Jake soon became the most sort after personal trainer in Hollywood at one time. His release of his Body By Jake DVD is still a success today and has put Jake Steinfeld on the map. Jake turned into an EXCELLENT, very professional trainer, instructor and motivator. Jake is good at instilling confidence in his clients by stressing hard work, using humor and diligence Jake is able to effectively improve both your mental and your physical strength. In his Body By Jake DVD Jake goes through a total body workout of 45 minutes which is divided into three different 15-minute workouts. His Body By Jake DVD also includes a routine that is split into a Lower Body Workout of three different 20-min workouts and his Abba-Dabbas Workout which is a 30 minute workout divided into two different 15 minute workouts. One could train hard every day using the Body By Jake DVD doing the total body workout on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, lower body workouts on Tuesday and Thursday and Saturday while adding one of the two 15 minute Abba-Dabba workouts to each training session.
